About Us

Our Approach

We aim to provide a happy, fun and secure learning environment where every child's individuality is respected and valued.  Creating stability, maintaining continuity and offering a good balance between flexible and structured routines are at the heart of everything we do, allowing each child to grow and flourish.

We support all areas of children's development through our curriculum, helping them become more independent and confident as they prepare to transition from pre-school to Primary School.

We believe that parents and carers have the greatest influence in a child's life.  We see parents and carers as true partners in their child's learning journey, working together to nurture a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.

Our aims guide everything we do:

  • To provide a stimulating environment that encourages all-round development and fosters independance through meaningful learning opportunities.
  • To ensure the safety and well-being of every child in our care.
  • To create a homely, friendly and caring environment setting where each child feels valued and unique.
  • To nurture healthy, happy and self-confident children.
  • To achieve the desired outcomes of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, delivering care, education and equality of opportunity for all children and their families.
  • To make the pre-school accessible to children and families from all areas of the local community.
  • To identify and support children with special educational needs, ensuring appropriate provision is in place.

These aims underpin our daily practice, shaping the way we provide a high-quality, inclusive and nurturing environment for every child.
